Taylor Brand, LCSW
Director of Clinical Services,Interim Director

Taylor received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has ten years of experience working in child welfare, within both residential and community-based settings. She began her social work career in domestic violence and continues to embrace an empowerment philosophy when working with children and families. 
      



Julie Harrison
Program Coordinator

Julie has been employed at Rainbow House for eight years and has served in varous capacities. Julie is now the Program Coordinator for the agency.  She has two grown children and lives in Barnesville. Julie is committed to our children and families in care and is always striving to add new programs to further help our children and families. 
      






Marlene Jackson
Finance Manager

Marlene Jackson is our new part-time Finance Manager.  Although she’s accustomed to working in a corporate environment, she welcomes the change of a non-profit.  She’s a native New Yorker working in the corporate finance industry for many years before starting her own consulting business.  Marlene enjoys spending quality time with her son and extended family.    

Chantsy Watkins, LAPC
Therapist

Chantsy Watkins' role as the agency's Therapist allows her to fulfill her passion for helping children and families. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science degree in Professional Community Counseling. She greets each day here as an opportunity to help children and families with the process of rebuilding their lives.  She has been married for 13 years and has two adorable children.




 
David White
SafePlace Coordinator/Family Advocate/Case Manager

David is a graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma. He holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Theological and Historical Studies. David has worked in the child advocacy field for the past 10 yrs at various shelters, group homes, and intensive treatment facilities. Concentrating on youth when he first came to Rainbow House, David's role as the Family Advocate has evolved into work which includes the whole family.  As the Family Advocate, David provides community-based supprt for families, referrals for additional services, and strategic planning for the family's healing process.  He also serves as the agency's Safe Place Coordinator (a program which helps runaway and homeless youth.) David lives in Riverdale with his Wife of 17 yrs; they both are very active in the community mentoring teens and helping put together various activities in the area. In David’s own words “I have dedicated my life to helping and encouraging others to reach their full potential, ultimately walking in their purpose and reaching the destiny chosen for them”.


                                    
Monique Henderson
Marketing Director

Originally from Washington, DC, Monique moved to the Atlanta metro area three years ago to work as a contractor in corporate advertising and marketing for BellSouth and Phillips Consumer Electronics. After her contract ended, she decided to return to school full-time to finish a degree in Marketing.  Monique possessed more than twelve years of experience working in the child advocacy field before joining the Rainbow House team full-time in July 2007. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Marketing and is the proud mommy of a six year-old son, Travis.
