In order to become a Rainbow House volunteer we ask that you first attend a 90 minute Orientation Session which is held the first Monday of every month (unless otherwise noted). During this informal presentation, we provide an overview of what to expect as a volunteer of our shelter, introduce program staff, give a tour of our facility, and provide a forum to answer any questions or concerns you may have. After completion of the orientation session, a volunteer application (provided at orientation) must be completed. Upon receiving your application and background check, a Rainbow House staff person will contact you to set up a  date and time for you to come in to begin volunteering with us.
